Our Story Begins Here

Gallery Macniven started in 2020 when both Gemma and Scott departed from their Comic Book focus, instead traveling down the route of fairytales.

This freedom allowed both Gemma and Scott to try new mediums like watercolour, gouache, and eventually oils.

Throughout this time they both had many pieces in galleries, selling worldwide to various collectors from Australia, America, Italy, and the UK.

Slowly these interests evolved once again, and now Gemma focuses on her love of the dark and romantic with her oil paintings and detailed pencil pieces.

Scott however went back to his love of epic fantasy worlds and Wizards of the Coast products like Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering.

They both now live in the central belt of Scotland with their two children, their incredibly sweet rottweiler, and the forests nearby that spark their imaginations and souls.
